Our Group company JFE Shoji Steel Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (JSSM) held an internal contest for 2024 health and safety posters and slogans and produced a desk calendar featuring the twelve winning entries.

JSSM health and safety staff member Amer Syazwan Bin Mansoor planned the project to spread health and safety awareness among employees and get them to participate in related activities. From the 18 entries submitted, 12 were selected for the calendar during a competition that took place at the annual dinner party on October 14 last year. The calendar’s cover has a monthly calendar that can be written on, with Malaysian and Japanese holidays marked for easy reference. The posters and slogans are on the back, along with the meanings behind the slogans.

About three hundred calendars were distributed to business partners.

Employees said this has boosted employee awareness of health and safety and related activities, and that they would like to see the calendar distributed to employees as well.

Awards were presented to the top three winners of the competition (noted in the image below) on the last workday of December 2023.
