JFE Shoji Electronics Publishes Feature on Next-Gen TSN for Avionics Communications Standard

Group company JFE Shoji Electronics Corporation has published a feature article on Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) for Avionics—the next-generation aerospace standard for onboard Ethernet communications. The article appeared on the company’s aerospace information website, Aerospace Journal.
This is the first of four feature articles based on interviews with one of JFE Shoji Electronics’ major customers, Data Device Corporation/Power Device Corporation (DDC/PDC). Headquartered in the United States, DDC/PDC is one of the world’s leading data bus1 producers. Each article covers a different cutting-edge aerospace technology not well known in Japan.
The first feature covers TSN for Avionics, a new aerospace communications technology being developed for use by IEEE2. JFE Shoji Electronics interviewed DDC/PDC CEO Kosuke Okada, who graciously explained the characteristics and uses of this state-of-the-art technology in a straightforward manner.
JFE Shoji Electronics will be publishing three more feature interview articles about aerospace technology in the future, so please check out the website to read them as well.
The first feature, which is currently only available in Japanese, can be found here: We interview an expert on the front lines of advanced tech including next-gen fighters, drones, and satellites(Only Japanese)
