JFE Shoji Holds FY2024 Company Entrance Ceremony

JFE Shoji held its FY2024 company entrance ceremony on April 1, welcoming forty-three new employees to the company. The new staff, full of hope and energy, clearly approached the ceremony with confidence despite the natural tension of the occasion.

During the ceremony, President and CEO Toshinori Kobayashi presented the new hires with two key phrases: “think for yourself” and “remain open.” The former expression refers to the act of thinking, speaking and acting for yourself. By the latter, he means engaging in honest discussion, bouncing ideas off each other, and refining those ideas to present the best possible idea at that time. He also conveyed the importance of working with alacrity as they put these two mottos into action, especially in this age of uncertainty.

Our new colleagues will spend the next month or so in the onboarding process, acquiring business manners and a wide range of work-related knowledge. After completing their training, they will be assigned to their first departments, where they are sure to be a breath of fresh air. Since these new hires experienced so many restrictions during their time as students due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we truly hope they find working at JFE Shoji as enjoyable an experience as they may have imagined.
