[Social Contribution Activities] JFE Shoji Group Company Blood Drive
JFE Shoji held a JFE Shoji Group blood drive on February 8 at its head office, with fifty-two employees participating. Held twice a year since 2014, these corporate blood drives have become a familiar social contribution activity for employees.
On the day of the drive, participants checked in and then underwent blood pressure measurement, a medical interview, and hemoglobin concentration and blood type tests before donating blood.
In return, participants received free drink tickets, which they exchanged for the beverage of their choice at the head office’s Orange Cafe. They were also able to view the results of their blood tests with a blood donation app. The event was a good opportunity to motivate the participants to manage their health.
The JFE Shoji Group will continue to promote these blood drives and a variety of other social contribution activities.
