Zhejiang JFE Shoji Steel Products Invites Baoshan Iron & Steel to Tour and Meet-and-Greet
Zhejiang JFE Shoji Steel Products invited major supplier Baoshan Iron & Steel for a meet-and-greet on November 28 last year. The senior management of Baoshan Iron & Steel visited in 2014, and was very impressed by the Japanese company’s management structure. Exchanges between the two firms started in 2015, with Baoshan studying Zhenjiang JFE Shoji Steel’s management methods and the latter acquiring greater knowledge of the electrical steel manufacturing process and the characteristics of different products.
Thirty-three employees from Baoshan Iron & Steel came in November, headed by the Electrical Steel Division’s manufacturing team leader. During the plant tour, the group mainly observed safety measures, quality control and posted materials. The meet-and-greet that followed featured a lively exchange of opinions, which proved very meaningful for both sides.
Zhejiang JFE Shoji Steel will continue to deepen relationships with suppliers through exchanges like this to ensure safer, higher-quality products.
