JFE Shoji Group’s JFE Shoji Zosen Kako Corporation partnered with JFE Steel to exhibit at Bari-Ship 2023—western Japan’s largest international maritime exhibition—from May 25 to 27 in Imabari City, Ehime Prefecture. Around 350 exhibiting companies from around the world gathered for the event, which was organized for the first time in four years after cancellations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Bari-Ship drew over 19,000 visitors when opened to the public on the final day.

Our booth promoted the value-added proposition of JFE Group steel, which combines JFE Steel’s steel products with JFE Shoji Zosen Kako’s processing capabilities. We also demonstrated our carbon neutrality initiatives. Members of our Shipbuilding Steel Section came to cheer on the exhibition team, and many industry professionals visited our booth to listen to presentations.
