Annual Safety Prayer at Kanda Shrine

On January 9, JFE Shoji President and CEO Toshinori Kobayashi, Executive Vice President Seiya Kitajima, Managing Executive Officer Takanori Adachi and members of the Technical Planning & Support Department performed the annual prayer for the health and safety of all JFE Shoji Group employees and their families at Kanda Shrine.
Kanda Shrine has long been revered by the people of Edo because it houses the city’s tutelary deities. People often visit the shrine, including many company officials who come to pray for the safety and prosperity of their businesses.
Due to the nature of our manufacturing facilities—where people work in spaces containing large and hazardous machinery—there is always a risk of serious accidents. Based on the Group’s philosophy that safety takes precedence over everything else, we aim to eliminate workplace accidents by conducting risk-reducing safety and health activities that include raising safety awareness among employees as well as improving equipment and facilities.
To go to work every morning, perform our work safely and return home without incident—we are all committed to maintaining the vigilance required to ensure such ordinary but fulfilling days.
Let’s have another safe year!
