JFE Shoji Group company Zhejiang JFE Shoji Steel Products Co., Ltd. (KSZ) marked its thirtieth anniversary on December 18, 2024. On January 18, the company held a party to celebrate this tremendous milestone.

The party attracted 535 people in all, including current employees, former Japanese expatriates, and retired employees. Deputy plant manager Zhu Wei Ming—who has been with the company since its founding—kicked off the gathering with a greeting. President Tatsushi Maeda and Managing Executive Officer and China Business Division general manager Takazumi Sekido followed him, both reflecting on the company’s three decades and thanking the employees for their hard work.

A video letter from KSZ’s first president, Koji Mano, congratulating the company on its thirtieth anniversary got the crowd excited. In the video, Mano recalled how he developed a taste for frog during his time working in China, and even ate them on a daily basis.

The party was a huge success, bringing current and former employees together, and cheerful voices echoed throughout the venue from start to finish. Some highlights included a raffle and a choir performance by twenty-two current staff members.

Zhejiang JFE Shoji Steel Products and its employees will continue to grow together toward the company’s fortieth and fiftieth anniversaries while treasuring the history and skills cultivated over the last three decades.
