The Technical Planning & Support Department hosted the twelfth Domestic Group Company J1 Presentation Conference on November 20 . A dozen groups from ten JFE Shoji Group companies participated in this year’s event. They presented on topics such as improvement measures and safety activities that have boosted productivity.

[What is the Domestic Group Company J1 Presentation Conference?]
J1 activities are the daily efforts of domestic Group companies to solve manufacturing challenges in areas such as safety, quality and operations. The conference is a venue for reporting the results of these activities. Though their carefully crafted presentations, each team shared their results and findings to the audience of more than a hundred people from Group companies across Japan.

Two companies that presented particularly outstanding initiatives received awards from Managing Executive Officer Takanori Adachi at an awards ceremony on November 29 .

Considering all of the presentations, Adachi commented: “The initiatives presented were at such a high level that they can be deployed at other companies. I appreciated how much effort and thought went into preparing and displaying the materials. I hope these awards will motivate you to continue your improvement activities.”

The JFE Shoji Group will always work to improve productivity and safety by collecting useful information from each of its companies and disseminating it across the Group.
