Thirty-three volunteers from JFE Shoji Group companies participated in the second 2024 Chiyoda City Cleanup on November 7. Organized by the local government, this semiannual environmental beautification event takes place every June and November, and members from our Group have been joining in to contribute to the local community.

The cleanup crew gathered at 7:45 a.m. After JFE Shoji Service President Fumio Takahashi provided some opening remarks, they split up into four teams. For about forty minutes, the teams collected cigarette butts, empty cans and other litter around Otemachi Financial City while facing the first cold winter winds of the year.

The JFE Group as a whole is committed to promoting a variety of social contribution activities, including ones that focus on environmental beautification.
