JFE Shoji Electronics Exhibits at Japan International Aerospace Exhibition 2024

JFE Shoji Electronics Corporation exhibited at Japan International Aerospace Exhibition 2024 alongside its business partner Data Device Corporation/Power Device Corporation (DDC/PDC) and their Japanese distributor, Pulsmo, Inc.

This year’s exhibition took place at Tokyo Big Site over four days starting on October 16, under the theme “Soaring for Diversity, over the Global Sky, into Space.” Companies from a wide range of industries exhibited their cutting-edge products and technologies in areas such as decarbonization (hydrogen and electrification), urban air mobility (flying cars and drones), and space (small satellites and space exploration).

DDC/PDC’s products have gained strong support in the aerospace industry thanks to their high reliability and safety, backed up by technology and experience honed over more than five decades.

At this year’s exhibition, the companies exhibited the MIL-STD-1553B communication standard—an area in which DDC/PDC has the top market share in Japan—as well as Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) for Avionics, a next-generation communications standard optimized for the aerospace field that combines real-time communications with synchronicity.

They also exhibited solutions such as single-board computers for space that have been selected for key NASA and JAXA missions, as well as radiation-hardened components essential for satellites and space probes.

Prior to the exhibition, JFE Shoji Electronics’ Digital Marketing Office released a variety of online promotional content. This included a promotional video on TSN for Avionics as well an interview with Kosuke Okada, the CEO of DDC Electronics K.K., who is one of Japan’s leading experts in the MIL-STD-1553B arena.

JFE Shoji Electronics will continue to strengthen its partnership with DDC/PDC and contribute to the development of the aerospace field both in Japan and globally. At the same time, the company is committed to optimizing digital marketing in its sales activities to meet the needs of customers.
