JFE Shoji Group company Kawasho Foods had a stall at the JFE Chiba Festival on October 27 at Soga Sports Park in Chiba City. This year marked the forty-fourth edition of the popular annual autumn festival, which JFE Steel’s East Japan Works presents to foster a relationship with the local community. This was also the twenty-fifth time that Kawasho Foods has participated, having been part of the event every year since 1998—the year before the 1999 merger of Nozaki & Co., Ltd. and Kawasho Corporation—with the exception of 2020 and 2021 during the pandemic.
Kawasho Food’s stall offered a wide selection of the company’s products, including Nozaki’s corned beef, pork luncheon meat, salad chicken, Beekist honey and more at discount prices. The ever-popular corned beef sold out quickly, as did the pork luncheon meat, which proved more popular than expected. A number of visitors expressed their delight, with one saying: “I love corned beef, so I was delighted to find it at such affordable prices.” Another commented: “I didn’t know there were so many kinds of corned beef!”
Kawasho Foods treasures its connection with people in local communities, and we will continue to participate in the festival to show our appreciation for the support they give the JFE Group.
