The JFE Shoji Group company blood drive for 2024 took place on August 29 at the Shin-Otemachi Building, where many JFE Group companies are located. Around forty employees donated blood this time.

The blood drive has been carried out twice a year since 2014. Since it only takes about forty minutes and employees can casually donate blood during work hours, this has become familiar to them as a personal social contribution activity. Some employees even found time to join the drive on the fly despite their busy schedules.

Blood drives not only save lives, they also let donors find out their blood test results via a special blood donation app. This ability to contribute to society while also managing their health has made the event popular with employees.

The JFE Shoji Group will continue to promote these blood drives and various other social contribution activities.
