JFE Shoji Labor Union’s Tokyo Branch Organizes Employee Cruise

The JFE Shoji Labor Union’s Tokyo Branch’s JFE Shoji Night Cruising event on July 25 drew 112 employees for a tour of Tokyo Bay. This was the first employee cruise in six years due in part to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The chartered cruiser departed Ariake Boat Terminal after Tokyo Branch Executive Committee member Yutaka Ito offered a toast and greeting. The scenic course included views of Eitai Bridge, Tokyo SkyTree, container wharfs and other Tokyo Bay highlights. The employees enjoyed a buffet-style dinner combined with a rock-paper-scissors tournament, with the winners receiving gift certificates redeemable at Tokyo Dome City. Karaoke, dance performances, a group photo with the Rainbow Bridge in the background and lots of other excitement followed.
