JFE Shoji Steel Philippines, Inc. (JSSP) held its annual company trip over the weekend of May 30-31. This year, a group of 179 participants that included 89 employees and 90 family members visited the Pico de Loro Beach & Country Club in Nasugbu, Batangas.
The first day of the trip began with a greeting from JSSP assistant general manager Rundy Espinosa. An awards ceremony to recognize the JSSP participants who ran in the annual Ekiden competition followed, as well as the best J-MUSCLE presentations from last year . A group birthday party took place after that for employees born in May.
At lunch and dinner, the whole group enjoyed sharing food served on large platters at each table. Dinner was accompanied by singing performances as family members of employees took the stage. Later on there were games that pitted the management team against other employees, a raffle, and similar festivities that made for a very lively evening.
On the second day of the trip, the families spent their free time enjoying activities such as walking on the beach, swimming in the resort’s pool, and singing karaoke. The trip was an excellent opportunity to create a sense of unity between the participants and deepen the bonds of the JSSP family.
JSSP will continue to strengthen ties between employees in its quest to build the optimal workplace environment.
