JSSP Contributes to Society and Promotes a Safer Workplace Environment

To celebrate National Blood Donors’ Month, the Laguna chapter of the Philippine Red Cross held a Blood Donors’ Recognition Day ceremony on July 31 at a shopping mall in Biñan City. Cristina L. Cabigan and , Cherry Beth Palles represented JFE Shoji Steel Philippines, Inc. (JSSP) at the event. In recognition of its donation of twenty-six pints of blood in 2023, JSSP received a national award and a service award. This is the second consecutive year JSSP has received an award at this event.
In accordance with the Philippine Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, the company conducted annual drug testing on July 31 on eighty-one randomly selected employees to detect and prevent employees from abusing drugs. All employees tested negative, confirming that JSSP continues to be a workplace with no illicit drug use, and also indicated that JSSP employees are complying with company rules.
JSSP considers the health of its employees and contributing to society as its top priorities. It will continue to work with its employees to maintain a safe and sound workplace environment and to contribute to regional society.
