P.T. JFE SHOJI STEEL INDONESIA ( located in Jawa Bara, Indonesia, hereinafter called as JSSI ), the Indonesian steel processing center of JFE Shoji Trade Corporation( President : Mikio Fukushima) has decided to install one large slitter and expand its plant building by investing about JPY 500 million.
The steel demand in Indonesian market is forecasted to be increased more with the background of its stable economic growth. Since it is estimated that the present slitting capacity of JSSI would be unable to fulfill these increasing demand, we have reached the conclusion that the large slitter line shall be installed for JSSI to secure these growing demand. Simultaneously, it is expected that JSSI will be able to grow their business area by this installment as new slitter line will be able to process for thicker hot coil.
It is scheduled that the operation of new slitter line will be started around spring, 2012.And the processing capacity of JSSI will grow from the present 30,000MT/year to 70,000MT/.
