The stock transfer by Kawasho Corporation
on August 2, 2004, resulted in the establishment of JFE Shoji Holdings,
Inc. and consequently the operations of the Kawasho Corporation
and NKK Trading Inc. now fall under the umbrella of the new company.
On October 1, 2004, the Kawasho Corporation split into foodstuffs
[Kawasho Foods Corporation], semiconductor [Kawasho Semiconductor
Corporation]
and real estate[Kawasho Real Estate Corporation] operations. Following
this restructuring, a merger between the Kawasho Corporation and
NKK Trading Inc. created the [JFE Shoji Trade Corporation], which
then began to handle all of the peripheral steel and steel businesses
of the Kawasho Corporation and NKK Trading Inc.
